The Trowbridge Branch of the Women’s Institute visited Sevington Victorian School for their summer outing.
Members were met by Miss Squire who led them into the old schoolroom and tested their ability to write with pen and ink while sitting on hard benches.
The visit was rounded off with a lovely afternoon tea in the schoolteachers sitting room.
Members agreed that the Victorian School, House and gardens are beautifully kept and a treat to visit on a sunny afternoon.
