OFFICERS are renewing their appeal for residents to remain vigilant after scammers targeted three elderly residents in Shaftesbury.
On each occasion the victims were contacted by telephone by someone purporting to be from their bank.
They were told their was an issue on their account and their debit cards needed to be collected.
On two occasions money was taken from accounts.
The last report, yesterday, involved a man arriving at a town centre address to collect a bank card.
The suspect is described as black, in his late 20s, five feet nine inches tall and of medium build.
He was wearing a black shirt, black trousers and a high-visibility jacket.
