Villagers celebrate Bratton's large best-kept village award
THE Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Mrs Sarah Rose Troughton, is to present Bratton with the CPRE Best Kept Village Award on Sunday, September 15.
The ceremony will take place between 12.40pm and 2pm and consist of an unveiling of a plaque outside the Jubilee Hall, several presentations and refreshments in the hall afterwards.
Bratton scored 97 and out of maximum 98 points to take this year's award against strong competition.
