PUPILS and staff at the Mead Primary School are celebrating having their International School Award reaccredited until 2022.

The school's approach towards international work such as thier no plastic project whcih links with an Australian school in Vietnam has been recommended to the award administrators as аn example of outstanding good practice.

Gill Herrin, class teacher and international coordinator at the Mead Primary School, said: "We are thrilled to have received such wonderful comments from The British Council about our international work. It’s an aspect of our learning which is very exciting, particularly when we get to work with other children and staff from around the globe. We can’t wait to get started on our projects for this year."

Other projects include International maths games and learning about music from other cultures.
