WITNESSES and drivers with dash cam footage of a road traffic collision near Warminster earlier this month are wanted by Wiltshire Police.

The collision between a silver Volkwagen Transporter van and a black Ford Fiesta happened just before 6pm on Thursday, September 5 on the A350 between the Granada Services roundabout and the traffic lights.

The driver of the Fiesta, a man in his 70s, was taken to hospital with chest injuries, but is making a good recovery.

The driver of the van drove off without stopping and the vehicle was later found abandoned on the Deverill Road and seized by police.

“It left the A350 in the direction of the Granada roundabout, onto Bath Road, Church Street, Sambourne Road and Deverill Road.
