OVER 100 runners took part in the Bradford on Avon Lions fun run which included a 2km run, walk, toddle or push and their 5km race on Sunday.

The runners ranged in age from three years to over 70.

Organiser Phil Courage said: "The atmosphere was great as always.

"Despite the pretty awful weather conditions everybody was determined just to get on with it and have a great time.

"All of the children enjoyed receiving their medals and unpacking their goody bags.

"What is really great is the level of support we get.

"We are so grateful to the town council who sponsored all of our trophies and to many local businesses who regularly support us.

"We couldn’t do it without them."

Once again the Lions hope to have raised a substantial amount of money from the event which they use to support many local good causes. A total will be announced at a later date.
