AS Trowbridge Carnival approaches, several roads will be closed on the evening of the event on October 19.
The procession starts from Canal Road at 7pm, continuing through the town via The Down, Islington, Timbrell Street, Union Street, Church Street, Silver Street, Market Street, and Castle Street, ending at Cradle Bridge. The procession will be followed by a Presentation Evening at the Wesley Road Club, from 10pm.
The following roads will be closed. Canal Road from the Consortium to recycling centre from 3– 10.30pm, Canal Road from recycling centre to Lidl from 4-10.30pm, Islington, Timbrell Street, Union Street, Church Street, Silver Street, Market Street, Castle Street from 6-11pm.
Also closed will be St Stephens Place roundabout from 9:45am -11pm, Bythesea Road from the job exchange to the traffic lights at Longfield roundabout from 7.45-11pm.
