A SHOW that raises funds for a Wiltshire charity to help armed forces people is heading for Melksham in November.

Rock for Heroes comes to Melksham Assembly Hall on Thursday, November, from 7.30pm.

Performed by a full live rock band and superb singers, the show is a night out unlike any other.

It will feature music from Queen, Dire Straits, David Bowie, Status Quo, Bryan Adams, Elton John, AC/DC, Whitesnake and more.

Rock for Heroes raises funds to enable the Salisbury-based Help for Heroes charity to provide better facilities for British servicemen and women who have been wounded or injured in the line of duty.

So far, the show has collectively raised more than £20,000 since starting the tour in 2018.

A spokesman said: "Our overall aim is to raise £2.5 million for the charity."
