A CAMPAIGN to tackle domestic abuse in Wiltshire is promoting Clare’s Law, the domestic violence disclosure scheme.
This allows anyone who has concerns that their partner may be abusive, or may have an abusive past, to make enquiries with their local police force.
A decision will then be made on whether information is disclosed to the person at risk so that they can make an informed decision about whether or not to continue the relationship.
Wiltshire Police said: "We know this may seem like a difficult step to take for anyone suffering in a relationship.
"Therefore, we have created a list of frequently asked questions to show just how easy this process is and the support you will be given."
