LONGLEAT'S Emma, Viscountess Weymouth, has told of her terror of being in the Strictly dance-off last weekend.

the 33-year-old model and chef and her professional partner Aljaž Škorjanec ended up in the dance-off for the first time after dancing a Jive to Kids in America by Kim Wilde.

But the judges eliminated the other dance-off couple, BBC Radio 1 DJ Dev Griffin and his pro-partner Dianne Buswell.

Emma said: "Last week was a really hard week. We danced the Jive, which is a really physically intense dance.

"It was a lot of fun though. I loved doing it to ‘Kids in America’. We had a great time dancing and, it did seem to go well but unfortunately we were in the dance-off which was terrifying.

"The dance-off is something that you can’t describe. The pressure – I thought I was going to break in half!

"But in the moment you can’t do that. You have to be strong because that’s your one and only chance to survive and stay in the competition. And thank goodness we did stay.

"I’m so grateful to be still dancing, still training and learning. I don’t take any of this for granted.

"I’m very grateful for being in and for all the support and nice messages I’ve received since this week."

The Viscountess added: "I’m really looking forward to tomorrow. Aljaž and I are doing a Viennese Waltz to Witney Houston’s ‘Saving All My Love For You’.

"So we are working hard on that. The choreography is beautiful and the song is incredible.

"The technical framework for me in the dance is particularly important for me to get right. Maintaining it, making it better than last time. This time there is even more pressure to get my frame perfect.

"The set is quite dreamy for this week’s dance. I have not yet seen my dress. I’ve not seen the set either. Aljaž has planned it and I’m not allowed to know about it until today.

"I trust him though. I think it’s going to be a beautiful set and ball dress.

"I don’t get much free time at the moment but when I am free I’m with my two children John and Henry.

"We play with toy diggers and walkie talkies as well as their lion and tiger cuddly toys which are all over the house! We also watched the film, Madagascar together last night. "Whenever I’m not at Elstree or rehearsing I’m with John and Henry.

"On a Sunday I get to spend some time around Longleat. I was in the soft play in the Adventure Castle with the boys last weekend and I met a lot of Strictly Come Dancing fans.

"It was really lovely having chats with visitors around the park who have seen the show."
