FIRE fighters were called into action when a van caught alight on a main road in Royal Wootton Bassett.
A crew from the town's station was alerted just after 6pm on Friday.
A spokesman said: "Fire control took an emergency call to reports of a van on fire. One fire engine from Royal Wootton Bassett was mobilised.
"On arrival at the A3102 the crew found that there was one van well alight and got to work to extinguish the fire using one hose reel and two breathing apparatus."
