A FUNDRAISING evening organised by a local pub is being held in aid of 15-year-old Kale Turner, from Trowbridge, who is living with a brain tumour.

On Friday, November 8 from 7.30pm the Holy Trinity Church on Stallards Street will host an Elvis tribute act along with a charity raffle to raise funds for a bigger home for Kale and his family when he is well enough to come home from Bristol Children’s Hospital.

Tickets are £10 from the Stallards Inn across the road from the venue and from The Plough, on Trowbridge Road, Bradford on Avon for £10 each.

Kale was diagnosed with a brain tumour last September .

Before there was a chance to operate a bleed occurred on his brain which left him with severe brain damage.

The Turner’s family home in Dursley Road is too small to be adapted so his family are raising money for a suitable house.

Kale’s mum Jane Turner said: “We just want Kale to be able to have access to everything in his home just like he did before. We are a very close family and like to spend our time at home together, so this is so important for us.”
