A NEW charity which aims to tackle poverty amongst children is now be taking on the challenge of helping babies in poverty stricken families as the organisation grows.
Ruksak 45218 was founded last year to provide back packs full of living essentials such as toiletries, basic clothes and bed sheets.
Now as the need for their help grows, the founders have decided to extend the age range covered to run from birth up to 18.
Co-founder Rory Donaldson said: “Some children across the county are having to be provided with basic hygiene items as the levels of child poverty are increasing.
"This is why Ruksak45218 is working hard to provide young people with these essential items, and are working in conjunction with other organisations to achieve this."
The charity will now be excepting donations of nappies, creams and other essentials.
