Suspected raid

POLICE were called to unit two of Hooper Pool in Southwick on Wednesday afternoon to a suspected drugs raid. The property was still being guarded on Thursday morning.

Shop assault

AT 2.13am on Friday, Joseph Dent, of Sheridan Gardens, Trowbridge, assaulted members of staff at Tesco Extra. The 36-year-old has been charged with going to the shop equipped and with assault. He is to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on November 29.

Wallet stolen

A MAN was pick-pocketed on Market Street, Trowbridge, on Friday. At around 10.45am the thief stole the brown leather wallet from the man’s pocket. The wallet contained cash, a bank card, a bus pass, a senior rail card and library cards.

Bicycle theft

OVERNIGHT on November 2, a blue Muddy Fox bike with white forks was stolen. It had been locked up outside the Dursley Arms, Trowbridge, before it was taken.

Motorbike crash

A RIDER was injured after a collision between a motorcycle and a car on Mane Way, Westbury, at 8.44am on Tuesday. The driver of the car was unhurt but the motorcyclist was treated for minor injuries.

Garage burgled

BETWEEN October 28-29, a garage door next to a house on Wiltshire Drive was forced open, resulting in a Honda generator being stolen. Police are unsure how the garage was broken into.

Purse stolen

THIEVES stole a shopper’s purse that she had put in her shopping trolley as she was in the aisles of a supermarket on Warminster Road, Westbury. The purse was taken at 10pm last Thursday.

Vehicle stripped

THIEVES ripped out interior fittings from a car while it was parked on Stephenson Road, Westbury at 5pm last Thursday. The owner discovered it was stripped of its dashboard, headlights and central console.
