An 11-year-old girl will see her design on charity Christmas cards after winning an opticians' competition.
Ellie Wilson was victorious in Specsavers’ contest, which will see her Christmas cards sold with all profits going to Doorway, a charity that supports homeless people in Wiltshire.
Her winning design shows a Christmas tree wearing glasses.
Doorway’s director Jo Kitching said: “Every penny raised will go towards providing vital services to homeless and vulnerably housed people in Chippenham.
“Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for our guests and it’s good to know that they’re in the minds of the local residents.
“We think the design is really lovely and hope people will support us by buying these cards for friends and family this year.’
The cards are for sale at £5 per pack, and are available from Specsavers in Chippenham.
