A MAN who punched a delivery driver in the face at a Trowbridge shopping centre is being sought by police.

The incident happened shortly before 1am on September 20 when two men were making a delivery in the service yard at The Shires shopping centre.

While one of the men was in the trailer of the articulated lorry, a man who was not known to him jumped inside and punched him in the face.

The victim, a man in his 50s, was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath for treatment to sustained bruising and swelling to his eye.

The police would like to speak to the man pictured in connection with the assault.

The suspect is believed to have left the area in the direction of Market Street.

He is described as approximately 5 ft 8 inches tall and of muscular build and he was wearing a black scarf, a grey hoody and khaki combat trousers.
