JEWELLERY and watches worth around £2000 was stolen from Bradford on Avon during a burglary.

Police are appealing for the public's help after thieves ransacked a house in the Folly Field Area of the town, on 15 October, between 7am and 7pm, taking watches and jewellery, along with cash, and foreign currency.

Were you in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious or perhaps you’ve been offered one or some of the items for sale?

PC Nigel Wilcocks, from Trowbridge Community Policing Team, said: “Understandably the victims are extremely upset by this incident. Burglars invade your personal space and somewhere you should be able to feel safe.

“If you were in the area that day and may have dash cam footage, please review it as you could hold a piece of information that we need to bring these thieves to justice or reunite the owners with their sentimental items.”
