JOIN Robin Hood and his merry band for a fantastic pantomime adventure at Salisbury Playhouse this Christmas.

With all the elements of a traditional pantomime – comedy, dance, audience participation, fantastic sets – and familiar songs, you won’t want to miss this year’s extravaganza.

A perfect treat for all ages, the spectacular new production of Robin Hood will run in the main house from November 30 to January 12.

Once again, it’s based on the well-known tale of Robin stealing from the rich to help the poor and tickets are selling fast. Last year’s pantomime offering, Beauty and the Beast, was seen by 26,000 people.

Robin Hood is written by Andrew Pollard, writer of previous Playhouse pantomimes Beauty and the Beast, Jack and the Beanstalk, Aladdin and Cinderella, and Gareth Machin will direct.

Robin Hood will be played by West End star Giovanni Spano, while Nurse Nora Virus, this year’s pantomime dame, will be played by Adrian Grove.

Maid Marian will be played by Alice Stokoe, while the Sheriff of Nottingham will be played by Greg Barnett. Bernadette Bangura will play Consuela, the Sheriff’s Spanish housekeeper.

This year’s cast is completed by Leonard Cook as Friar Tuck; Lauren Azania AJ King-Yombo as Allan A’Dale; and Shane Gibb and Amber Sylvia Edwards in ensemble roles.

Set and costume design is by James Button, choreography is by Nicky Griffiths sound is by Michael Scott and lighting is by Nic Farman.
