CHILDREN from All Saints Church in Westbury's First Steps to Worship Toddler group have check their Christmas tree decorations.

They are getting ready for their tree at the Church' s Christmas Tree Festival at the end of this month.

Around 50 trees will be on display in the church from Friday, November 29 to Monday, December 2. There will be musical entertainment each day and stalls and refreshments.

On Friday evening from 5.15pm there will be a display from Dancecraft dance studio and music from students from Westbury Infant school, Westbury Junior School's ukulele group and Westbury Leigh School.

This will be followed by the opening by Archdeacon, Reverend Alan Jeans at 6.30pm.

Over the weekend, there will be a variety of music, Christmas stories in the stable, and a Christingle service on Sunday.

On Saturday morning, there will be music from Penny B and friends on bagpipes and accordions.

In the afternoon, the Bratton Brass Band will play and in the evening there will be a performance by the adult ukulele band.

On Sunday afternoon, Hilperton Recorders will perform.

There will be Christmas stories in the stable at 3.30pm on Friday, November 29 and on Sunday, December 1. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

There will be a Christingle service at 4pm on Sunday, December 2 and Fairy Light Half Hour on the Friday and Saturday evenings from 7.30 until 8pm.
