ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: A farmer has been fined for leaving black bin bags in the road. Jonathon Harley, 46, of Whitehill Lane, admitted depositing controlled waste on Whitehill Lane without having a council permit allowing him to do so. He was fined £360 and ordered to pay £3,502.87 costs to Wiltshire Council. Harley must also pay a £36 victim surcharge.

DEVIZES: Christopher Annan, 35, of Coombe Road, Croydon, denies stealing cosmetics and electronics from Boots and having a de-tagger for use in the course of a theft. He was granted bail to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court for the trial on February 13. Under his bail conditions he is banned from visiting Boots in Devizes.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Christopher Ladbrook, 30, of Hook Street, denies resisting a police officer and sending a woman a grossly offensive text message intending it to cause offence to her. The trial is set to be held on January 27 at Swindon Magistrates’ Court.

CORSHAM: Katie Cutts, 21 of Northcroft Road pleaded not guilty to permitting the use of cannabis at a house in Sheep Street, Devizes. The case was dismissed.

CHIPPENHAM: Younes Benmohammed, 42 of Bristol Road was charged with failing to stop after a road accident, drink driving and driving without insurance or a licence. The case was adjourned.

TROWBRIDGE: Anthony Jones, 18 of Slow Grove Close, was remanded in custody until December 5 after pleading not guilty to trespassing. He also pleaded guilty to using insulting and abusive works and behaviour. He was given a prison sentence of seven days.

WESTBURY: Ashley Beament, 19 of Springfield Road, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid licence and insurance, failing to stop and driving without due care and attention. He was fined £355.

CHIPPENHAM: Michael Harrison, 56 from Leeds was fined £335 and disqualified from driving after being charged with driving whilst using a mobile phone on the M4.

SEMINGTON: Patrick Ward, 35, of Greenacres mobile park, was charged with driving without valid insurance. The case was moved to December 17.

CALNE: Christina Rodier, 28, of Thomas Court, was fined £100 when she pleaded guilty to speeding and jumping a red light.

CHIPPENHAM: Anthony Ballard, 28, of Bradbury Close, applied to amend a suspended sentence order. The order was withdrawn.

CALNE: Carl Leese, 27 of Warren Crescent, was charged with failing to comply with supervision requirements following release from prison. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

CALNE: Levi Waters, 26, of George Close, failed to comply with the requirements of a community order. The offence was withdrawn.

DEVIZES: Sean West, 30, of High Street, made an application to amend the requirements of a community order. The offence was withdrawn.

TROWBRIDGE: Jason Smith, 48, of St Mary’s Gardens, Hilperton Marsh, was fined £235 and given six points on his driving licence for driving with no valid insurance.

WARMINSTER: Tessa Attwater, 75, of Ash Walk, had the offence of driving without insurance withdrawn.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: James Stanley, 25, of Peasedown St John, Bath, was fined £120 for being twice over the drink drive limit.The white Transit van driver was given a 19 month roads ban and ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

WARMINSTER: Wiltshire Police has been given permission to hang on to £1,500 cash suspected of being the proceeds of crime. The money was seized from a 16-year-old near Warminster. The girl cannot be named as magistrates made an order banning the publication of her identity.

TROWBRIDGE: Dylan Rose, 32, of St Thomas Passage, was remanded on unconditional bail to appear in court on December 3 after pleading guilty to assault.

TROWBRIDGE: A warrant for the arrest of Jacob Galloway, 22, of Moores Yard, Wingfield was issued after he was found guilty of drink driving and four counts of failing to surrender to custody at Salisbury Magistrates Court.

Melksham: Jessica Piper, 24 of Meadow Road was remanded on unconditional bail until December 3 after she pleaded not guilty to stealing child's bike.
