MUMS in Bratton have launched a crowdfunding appeal to refurbish and resource the village pavilion.
They want to provide care for children aged two and above after the shock closure of the village pre-school.
So far, the appeal has raised £260 towards its £1,000 target but organisers say the support from the local community has been overwhelming.
They said: "We need some financial support as the costs are mounting and grant applications take time to process."The more support we have the more chance we can open early 2020."
