A MAN in his 50s died after suffering serious head injuries at a home in Bournemouth at the weekend.
Police and paramedics were called to Littlemoor Avenue in West Howe just before 3.30pm.
Despite the efforts of the emergency services, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "Officers attended and provided medical assistance until the arrival of the ambulance service.
"Very sadly the man, who was aged in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and the man’s family are aware. The coroner has been notified."
Witnesses said the road was closed to traffic, with five police cars and an unmarked car parked outside the home.
