NEIGHBOURHOOD planners in Westbury are on the hunt for land which is potentially suitable for development.

The town’s neighbourhood plan steering group is looking for sites that could be used for housing, employment, retail, leisure, community purposes.

The group wants to identify potential sites for future development in Westbury from now until 2036.

Justine Cook, neighbourhood plan project administrator, said: “To achieve this we have been in contact with some landowners, developers and agents who have sites for potential residential development included in the Wiltshire Council Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment.

“However, we want to ensure that we reach those who may have an interest in developing land for all uses, including those who are not already identified/known to us.”

If you are interested in proposing a site for consideration, please contact the Neighbourhood Plan Project Team at http://bit.do/callforsites

The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group will then consider the site and its viability/suitability for inclusion in the Westbury Neighbourhood Plan.
