A BUS company have confirmed changes to their timetable for Christmas, with no services running on the major bank holidays.

Stagecoach West, who operate throughout Wiltshire, released their special schedule which will come in effect on Christmas eve and will end on January 2.

There will be no buses running across Wiltshire on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, service will stop at 8pm. There will be Saturday bus service on December 27 and 30.

Rupert Cox, managing director at Stagecoach West, said: “Being with loved ones is what Christmas is all about which is why we continue to serve the community throughout the festive period.

"The changes to the timetable mean that our customers can still spend time with their friends and family, or travel to work, knowing that they have a safe way to get home.”
