WILTSHIRE property consultancy Myddelton & Major has won a prestigious award for the eighth year in a row.

The Salisbury firm covers the central southern region and has once again won the title of Most Active Agency in Wiltshire.

Deals covering more than 440,000 square feet of commercial and in-excess of 190 transactions helped Myddelton & Major retain the title. Freehold sales totalled more than £21 million and the rent roll amounted to just under £2 million.

The top award came from Estates Gazette, the national online and weekly publication covering the UK commercial property industry. The 2019 EGi success was based on the number of retail, office and industrial deals completed across the county during the past year.

The long-established firm’s Wiltshire commercial agency team are surveyors Philip Holford, Dean Speer, Simon Lee, Rachael Wythe, Gary Mead, and administrator Jody Williams.

Surveyor Dean Speer said: “To win this prestigious accolade from the leading national industry magazine for eight years in succession is a brilliant tribute to the hard work across the year by our loyal and skilled staff in Salisbury.

“Their dedication to serving clients diligently is second-to-none and our results in 2019 show they consistently deliver the best possible service.

“The team promotes growth by facilitating commercial expansion and helps to bring new businesses into Wiltshire. People continue to turn to Myddelton & Major because of our reputation as a trusted advisor.

“We have grown the team during 2019 and with the addition of Matt Holmes, we now have a team of 11 surveyors working across the commercial property disciplines.

Matt brings a wealth of experience in valuations, property management and specialist consultancy and will help us to continue to develop our services across the region.”
