VISCOUNTESS Emma Weymouth fresh from her role on Strictly Come Dancing will waltz her way into the spotlight in Marlborough on December 19 when A Celebration Of Christmas raises money for the Stroke Association.

She will be joined in the chapel of Marlborough College by other celebrities including TV’s broadcaster Chris Tarrant and adventurer David Hempleman-Adams who lives in Wiltshire.

The concert, which is being supported by the Gazette & Herald, sold out within 48 hours of tickets going on sale.

There will be musical performances by the internationally renowned classical singer Carly Paoli and soloist Tom Elwes from Tewkesbury Abbey Schola Cantorum.

The Marlborough Stroke Association Christmas choir will perform alongside the Pinewood School Chapel Choir.

Donations can be made at www.celebrationofchristmas.co.uk to help decorate a Christmas tree being gifted to the stroke ward at Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
