THEY were beautiful last year but the lights along Hill Top Road in Woolston have become a firm favourite with Warrington families in 2019.

The twinkling lights have been praised by many Warrington residents including Tony Marsh who took this lovely picture of the street.

He added: "They give so much joy to the residents and also to the whole community too.

"Wonderful Warrington at its best."

Many other parents commented under Tony's post their children loved driving down this road to see the lights.

While others described it as the 'best street in Warrington'.

This is not the only road in Warrington spreading some Christmas cheer however.

Violet Close in Birchwood has also been drawing in crowds to see the lights

And last week we reported Latchford dad Craig Middlemore was raising money for Great Sankey children's charity JUMP which supports children with terminal and life-limiting illnesses across the region.

And we loved these Father Christmas pigs in Kirstie Cleaver's garden.

Warrington Guardian:

Danielle Davies sent in this amazing picture of the lights at her brother's house on Vulcan Close.

Do you know the man behind Hill Top Road's beautiful Christmas lights?

We would love to give him a well-deserved pat on the back for spreading some Christmas cheer.

If you know him, or you live on the road and love having so many visitors to your street during December, please email newsdesk@guardiangrp.co.uk or call 01925 596312.
