A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been arrested after being found with a large knife and knuckle duster in Great Sankey.
At 11.15am today, Monday, officers were called to reports that two men were acting suspiciously in the Whittle Hall Lane area.
The caller also reported that one of the men may have been carrying a knife.
Two beat managers were immediately on scene and stopped two men, one of which matched the description.
They arrested a 16-year-old boy on Wensleydale Close for possession of a bladed article in a public place.
A knuckle duster was also discovered by police.
The teenager is currently being questioned in police custody.
