CHIPPENHAM: Steve Summers has been refused permission to build three second floor flats at Matrix House, Hawthorn Road.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: James Palk has been granted approval with conditions to make a minor alteration to 5 Bradene Close and one new terrace house.

MARLBOROUGH: Marlborough College has been granted approval with conditions for two planning applications to alter and refurbish three existing adjoining buildings to provide level access to Marlborough College Science Department, including the Grade II Listed Science Block within the Grade II Listed Park and Garden. The College was also given approval to discharge condition three of planning application 19/04481/FUL to demolish the Kennet Building and construct a new two-storey building.

YATTON KEYNELL: John McQueen, director of McBallester Ltd, has been given permission with conditions to redevelop a farm barn and build a 10MW battery storage facility. He will also form a new access, alter an existing building, and provide site clearance and other associated works at The Barn, south east of 8 Tiddly Wink.

CHIPPENHAM: Mr and Mrs Whitrow have been granted approval with conditions to building an extension to a garage and to provide additional parking, a workshop and a garden toolshed at Kilverts Parsonage Chippenham Road, Langley Burrell.

WARMINSTER: Anthony Malcolm-Green has been given approval with conditions to enlarge a roof space to provide visitors bedroom and office over garage at Yarnfield Cottage, Maiden Bradley, Warminster.

CORSHAM: Tim Barton has been granted planning approval with conditions for a biomass boiler with chimneys at Manor Farm, Wadswick Country Store, at Wadswick near Corsham.

CHIPPENHAM: Mr Bailey and Mr Passmore have been refused permission to convert and extend existing buildings to create 27 new apartments at the Gladstone Club, 20 Gladstone Road, Chippenham. Planners said the proposals would impact on the character and appearance of the Chippenham Conservation Area, result in an over-development of the site, and would have an unacceptable impact on the privacy,

outlook and the sense of openness enjoyed by 19 Gladstone Road.

CORSHAM: Ben and Sarah Voutt have been granted approval with conditions to demolish an existing single storey garage and replace it with a two-storey extension at 40 Brook Drive, Corsham.

CHITTERNE: Mr and Mrs David Robinson have won planning approval with conditions to change an existing residential annexe to allow use as holiday let or as ancillary annexe to The Round House, 109 Chitterne, Warminster.

BRADFORD ON AVON: Redcliffe Homes Ltd has been refused permission for an outline application to build up to 42 new homes on land next to Cemetery Lane Bradford on Avon. The company had also sought approval for associated landscaping and access works.

CHIPPENHAM: Mr and Mrs A & S Smith

have been granted approval with conditions to build a replacement home at Rooks Leaze Cottage, Allington Lane, Kington St Michael.

TROWBRIDGE: Mr J Harris, of Sandlewood, 73A Yarnbrook Road, West Ashton, Trowbridge, has been given approval with conditions for a single storey rear extension.

DILTON MARSH: Mr R Whitefield has been refused planning permission to build a three-bedroomed house on land next to 2a Clivey, Dilton Marsh.

TROWBRIDGE: Stephen Watson has been given approval with conditions to build a two-storey extension and a single-storey extension at 57 Newleaze, Hilperton,Trowbridge.

NORTH BRADLEY: Planners have refused permission for Mr R Hibberd to build a detached annexe at 6 Kings Farm, Little Common, North Bradley. They said the proposed development would constitute a form of inappropriate and harmful development.

LIMPLEY STOKE: Dr Lok Woo, of Stoke Bar, 9 Warminster Road, has been granted planning approval with conditions for two flat roof extensions.
