FAMILY and friends have been left heart-broken by the sudden death of a Trowbridge man on New Year’s Day.

The body of 27-year-old Louis Ayrton was found at the Timbrell Street home he shared with his partner.

He had recently been working as a self-employed personal trainer at Harridges Gym in Market Place, Warminster.

Managers at Snap Fitness 24/7 gym in Trowbridge, who also knew him, were too upset to talk about his death.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “We were called to the sudden death of a man at an address in Timbrell Street, in Trowbridge, shortly before 6pm yesterday.

“A 27-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

“His death is not believed to be suspicious and our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.

“A file will now be prepared for HM Coroner.”

It is understood the man’s partner is Danyika O’Hara, a former pupil at St Augustine’s Catholic College in Trowbridge.

She and Mr Ayrton, a former pupil of Clarendon Academy in Trowbridge, had been in a relationship.

It is also understood that Mr Ayrton had recently lost two close friends within the past three months.

They were Fred Rogers, who died on December 20, and Ashley Overend, 26, who died in a car crash in Holland on October 1 on his way home from Germany.
