TROWBRIDGE Town councillors are campaigning to declare a climate change emergency.
Councillors will be asked to approve a carbon reduction recommendation at the council's policy and resources committee meeting next Tuesday (January 14).
They are being urged to follow a carbon reduction strategy along the lines of the one approved by Bradford on Avon Town Council.
Trowbridge councillors will be asked to declare a climate emergency at their full council meeting in September.
