A WESTBURY club is to stage a charity even to raise funds for Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital charity in London.
The event on February 8 from 7pm at The Players Club in Quartermaster Road, on the West Wilts Trading Estate, will support the hospital's charity MPN Voice.
It features a soul night with a live performance from Leroy Brown, supported by Old Skool, with music from the 1960s, 70s and 80s by DJ Farmski, along with a couple of games of bingo and a raffle.
Players Club director Ben Parrett said: "This particular event is a very close and personal one to all of us at Players as the charity has been chosen by Sheila Harris, who is our resident bingo caller.
"Her brother Johnathan, otherwise known as Edward, is a regular player at our bingo nights. He is sadly afflicted by an illness that they are researching at Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital.
