LUCKY winners of a supermarket trolley dash sped through the aisles picking up goodies as fast as they could watched by organisers of the charity draw that made it possible.
Edwin and Anne Bull-George had the winning ticket for the draw organised by St John’s church, Devizes, fund raising group Omnes Ad Unum.
Morrisons in Devizes donated the trolley dash to the draw held in the run-up to Christmas with tickets sold at a Michaelmas fair and a tree festival.
The couple sped around the store watched by manager Lisa Mulliss and Mike Sanders and Susy McDowell from Omnes Ad Unum.
Mr Sandars said: “We are very grateful to Morrisons for once again giving this prize.”
The draw helped the Christmas Tree Festival raise cash for charities including Devizes and District Opportunity Centre to be supported. Cash was also raised for Dorothy House, Julia’s House, Alzheimer’s support, WIltshire Air Ambulance and Wiltshire Young Carers.
