THE Avenue Surgery Partnership in Warminster is urging patients to contact the Primary Care Commissioning community interest company in Leeds about the proposed closure of a pharmacy next door.
They say that high street pharmacist Boots intends to close the pharmacy and operate from its Market Place store.
The company holds two pharmacy licences for Warminster. The third is held by Well Pharmacy.
The partnership said: "There are no additional pharmacy licences in Warminster which means another pharmacy could not operate from at another location in town if Boots operate their two licences from their Market Place store."
They have to gain permission from NHS England in order to close the facility.
The Avenue Surgery is encouraging patients to write to Paul Burns at the PCC-CIC at Suite 1a, West One, 114 Wellington Street, Leeds, LS1 1BA.
