Trowbridge: Aaron Joseph Penfold, 20, of Wingfield road stole Hugo BOSS fragrance, to the value of £52, belonging to Debenhams.

He pleaded guilty at Swindon Magistrates and was discharged conditionally for six months. He has to pay £21 towards victim services.

Royal Wootton Bassett: Jodie Mahoney, 31, of Proud Close Purton in Swindon was ordered to pay fines of £30.60 of compensation after she pleaded guilty to stealing items from Tesco Express totalling £30.60 on October 9.

PURTON: Thomas Fuller, 28, of Quarry Field, admitted possession of a steak knife in the Peatmoor Co-op store on October 19 and shoplifting two bottles of booze from the same shop on the same date.

He was bailed until February 28 to be sentenced at Swindon Magistrates’ Court.

WILTSHIRE: Robert Strungariu, 19, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to a spree that saw him steal from TK Maxx stores in Swindon, Chippenham and Bath on January 21 and also damage a watch cabinet at the Chippenham store.

He was jailed for three weeks, with magistrates citing the high value of the theft.

SWINDON: Jessica Innes, 22, of Colbert Park, pleaded guilty to drug driving a VW Urban on Swindon Road, Royal Wootton Bassett, last July.

She had cocaine, by-product benzoylecgonine and cannabis in her system magistrates heard.

She was fined £120, banned from the roads for three years and ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

Trowbridge: Pauline Fortune, 50 of Bramley Lane is charged with stealing £6,865 from McColls in Castle Place between October and November 2018.

She denied the charge and was remanded on unconditional bail until May 27 for the trial.

Fortune will appear in court on March 5 to give reasons for failing to pay an outstanding £1,914 in council tax after a notice was issued in June 2018.

Calne: Daniel Morrison, 22, of Oxford Road damaged a door at Booth House, Spring Close, Swindon on November 11 2019.

The following day on November 12 he assaulted a police officer and damaged cell C10 with the mattress to the value of £120 belonging to Wiltshire Police.

On December 13 2019 at Swindon he surrendered to custody at Swindon Magistrates’ Court and was released on bail in criminal proceedings. On February 11 he was arrested for breaking his bail conditions of not living and sleeping at his address.

He pleaded guilty to all offences and was remanded in custody until March 3 for a pre-sentence report.

Chippenham: Kali Bartley, 40, of Bromley Road in London was ordered to pay £372.00 in fines, costs to the Crown Prosecution Services and contributions towards victim services.

He pleaded guilty to being in possession of the class B drug cannabis on January 29 2019.

Melksham: Ian Lunn, 37, of Filton Avenue, Horfield in Bristol pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol and clothing valued in total at £1,245 from Sainsbury’s in Melksham. He was remanded in custody until March 3.

Trowbridge: Kevin Brown, 57, of Hollis Way, in Southwick had in his possession one wrap of amphetamine a class B drug on November 29 2019. He pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a total of £82 in fines and costs.

Trowbridge: Lee Symon, 21, of Seymour Road was given an 18-week suspended prison sentence and told to pay £100 compensation after she admitted a series of assaults and thefts from shops.

She stole three bottles of brandy worth £105, from Tesco Extra on November 23, ready meals costing £19.98 from Tesco Extra on October 10 and assaulted two people on the same day. The sentence was suspended for two years.
