POLICE say they are becoming "increasingly concerned" for the welfare of a man who failed to arrive at work.

Daryl Kew, who is 37 years old, was last in contact with a friend at around 1.30pm on Saturday, February 22, but has not been heard from or seen since.

Police say he has not turned up to work and was reported missing on Monday evening.

He is described as white, five feet 11 inches tall, of medium build and with short strawberry blond hair.

It is not known what he is currently wearing.

Chief Inspector Lindsay Dudfield, of Dorset Police, said: “It appears that Daryl has been very upset recently and as nobody seems to have heard from him since Saturday afternoon, we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"He might be driving in a white Citroen Berlingo van with the registration HG13 AWF.

“I am hoping that someone has seen Daryl or the van since then and can help us to find him.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Daryl’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting incident number 24:288.
