TWO workers at a Warminster car wash were led away in handcuffs on Saturday (Feb 22) after a raid by police and Home Office immigration officials.
Wiltshire Police said they had assisted Immigration and Home Office officers in their visit to the Woodcock Road car wash in Warminster.
Two workers were arrested on suspicion of immigration offences and taken to Melksham Police Station to be questioned.
Other people found working at the site were offered support and information from the Home Office.
Local community police officer, PC Helen Daveridge, said: βIt was a great opportunity to work with others in regard to not only dealing with any offences, but speak to persons about support and help should they have any concerns regarding their welfare and working arrangements.β
