CREWS from Trowbridge and Amesbury went to a fire at Fleming Farm at Shrewton on Saturday (Feb 29).
This started off as a chimney fire but flames were issuing in the kitchen. When crews arrived they identified the fire to be located in the flue of a log burner Aga.
Firefighters removed the contents from the Aga and dismantled it to access the flue. Crews used a stirrup pump and rods to extinguish the fire.
