WARMINSTER Town Council is to launch its own street sweeping service.
Councillors voted at their full council meeting on Monday to award a contract to Scarab Sweepers and to recruit a driver for the vehicle.
Councillors also approved plans to open a new storage depot to house the street-sweeping vehicle and equipment.
They hope to lease Unit 3 on the Woodcock Road Industrial Estate at £20,000 over a five-year period, with a three-year break clause.
