TOWN councillors in Warminster have backed a campaign to object to the 18-tonne weight restriction on the Cleveland Bridge in Bath.
Westbury Town Council asked Warminster to support Wiltshire Council's objections to the restriction and councillors agreed to on Monday.
The councils fear the restriction will drive more HGVs onto Wiltshire roads causing pollution.
