PUB restaurateurs Steph Carr and Sam Liverton may have to put Plan C into action following Monday night's lockdown instruction from PM Boris Johnson.

After leaping into action to open a takeaway business from The Old Ham Tree in Holt on Friday night, and getting a great reaction from locals, they had already considered running a delivery-only service if health measures were tightened.

"We thought we'd try it when we were told to close the doors and it's been a real success," Sam said on Monday. "It may be we have to move to a delivery service if things get worse."

The couple used their basic menu to create the takeaway range, and were pleased the move meant two staff, who live in the village, could keep their jobs although they have had to lay off others.
