A RETIRED paramedic has installed a flag on his home to put a smile on people's faces.
Chris Bush, 59, of St Mary's Gardens, Hilperton, put up the Keep Calm and Carry On flag over his front door.
He said: "I thought with all this doom and gloom, I would put a smile on people's faces."
He and his wife, Lin, 58, thought of the idea after seeing the bad news on TV about the coronavirus crisis.
He said: "We were sat there watching all the doom and gloom on the telly and thought we would put up a Keep Calm and Carry On flag.
"I found one on eBay and purchased it to raise people's spirits and bring a smile to their faces.
"It's just a bit of light-hearted fun as things are getting a bit desperate in the country with the coronavirus.
"Hopefully, somebody will see it and have a chuckle and raise their spirits a bit."
Mr Bush retired five years ago from his job as a South Western Ambulance Service paramedic in Trowbridge.
He now delivers spare motor parts for Platinum.
