DEVIZES recycling company, Grist Environmental, has set up a new giant wheelie bin service to support growing demand from house bound people wanting to Spring clean.
Grist Environmental has seen demand rise from householders disposing of rubbish from around the house following closure of Waste Recycling Centres.
The increased demand is from householders disposing of rubbish from around the house but who don’t require the capacity of a traditional skip.
For smaller quantities of household clearance material, they will deliver and collect a giant wheelie bin for waste to be deposited.
Simon Grist, director at the family business said: "Our initial action following the outbreak was to support and protect our fantastic local staff, many from the same family units, with stringent social distancing and hygiene measures. When waste collection was identified as a key service in the Government’s fight against Covid-19 these measures gave reassurance to customers and general public and allow us to keep recycling materials."
