WESTBURY: Paul Butler, of Merlin Court, Oldfield Road, has been remanded on bail after pleading not guilty to causing actual bodily harm and to damaging a front door. A summary trial has been set for April 23.

MELKSHAM: Lee James Rumens, 50, of Fullers Close, has had his case adjourned.

He is accused of driving his BMW while using his mobile phone on the A3102. He denies the charge.

TROWBRIDGE: 36-year-old Patrick Ward, of Greenacres Mobile Park, Semington, denies driving without insurance. His case was adjourned until July.

TIDWORTH: Wayne Askew, 32, of Pinetree House, Forest Drive, has been bailed to appear before Swindon magistrates on July 5.

He admits harassment of a woman, including sending several emails and leaving a letter in her car.

MELKSHAM: 28-year-old Thomas Carl Bryant, of Pennine Close, pleads not guilty to beating up a woman and causing damage to jewellery and a watch belonging to her. He also denies making an offensive phone call to her.

He admitted breaching previous bail conditions by contacting the woman concerned.

He has been remanded on bail to appear at South Wiltshire Magistrates’ Court on July 9, and ordered to stay away from an address in Devizes.

DEVIZES: The case against Terry Newman, 49, of Salisbury Street, has been dismissed.

Swindon magistrates heard that no evidence was offered in the case where he denied beating a woman.

CALNE: Roseanne Kelly, 30, from Forman Street, has had her case withdrawn at prosecution’s request. She was accused of not having her car licensed.

EDINGTON: Connor Naish, 22, from Frome is one of three men accused of trespassing and poaching rabbits or game, armed with a gun, who has had his case discontinued. He denied the charge.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Scott Elmore, 30, of Tanner Close, was given more time to pay for non-payment of a fine of £4,365. He’s been told to pay it off at £20 a month.

TROWBRIDGE: Ian Gadd, also known as Meat Man, 41, of Adcroft Street, has been bailed to appear at a later date for not providing a reasonable excuse for complying with a community order.

WILTON: 37-year-old Graham Ball, from Primrose Hill, has been sent for trial for breaking a non-molestation order made by Swindon Family Law prohibiting him from contacting a woman. He is accused of contacting her by phone.

CALNE: Daniel Hegarty was found guilty of beating a man up in Calne, and of driving a black Seat Ibiza on Cherhill Road without insurance.

TROWBRIDGE: Julian Mortimer, 60, of Newtown, pleaded guilty to breaching a sexual harm prevention order by emailing a 15-year-old boy and pursuing a friendship with him.

He was bailed to appear before Swindon Crown Court on April 2 for sentence.

SWINDON: Katie Donnelly, 37, of no fixed address, entered no pleas to charges she supplied crack cocaine to an undercover police officer in January.

She was granted unconditional bail to appear before the crown court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on April 17.

WROUGHTON: Mark Painter, 46, of Willow Walk, denies stealing a woman’s mobile phone and twice assaulting her. He was bailed until a trial at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on July 9.

REDHOUSE: Benjamin Emmerson, 26, of Dyson Road, pleaded guilty to drink-driving a Mazda through Minety. He was stopped by police on the B4040.

A breathalyser test found he had 67mg of alcohol in 100ml. He was fined £400, banned from driving for a year and a half, and told to pay £125 in costs and surcharge.

WALCOT: Zoe Stephenson, 18, of Shrewsbury Road, admitted threatening a woman. She pleaded guilty to an offence under the Malicious Communications Act and was ordered to do 40 hours of unpaid work, 20 rehabilitation days and pay a £90 victim surcharge.
