MELKSHAM in Bloom 2020 has launched a front garden sunflower competition to brighten up the town in the summer.
The organisers are looking for the tallest front garden sunflower, the largest diameter front garden flower seed head (excluding petals) and the best front garden display of multiple sunflowers.
The sunflower competition will be judged separately in late August when the sunflowers are mature.
They added: “Those entering can choose their variety of sunflowers but we remind you that seeds cannot be considered essential items of shopping so will need to be ordered up and delivered to your home.”Go to www.facebook.com/pg/melksham.town
