A TEENAGE boy had personal belongings stolen by a pair of robbers in Westlea Park.

The incident happened in broad daylight at around 5.30pm yesterday.

The 16-year-old victim was walking through the park in West Swindon when he was approached by two males he did not know.

After demanding he hand over a number of items, the pair left the scene via a footpath.

Wiltshire Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Detective constable Charlie Upton said: “This was understandably a frightening incident for the victim who was left shocked by what had happened. 
“We know there were a number of witnesses in the area at the time, who may have information which could help with our investigation. 
“We have been conducting enquiries in relation to the incident but if you can help, please do get in touch.”
