A new Scarab road sweeper in Warminster is to be named Basil Brushes following a competition on local social media.
The sweeper was delivered to the town last week and a driver has been recruited to use the vehicle to clean roads and pavements.
The name was unanimously approved by the town’s environmental services committee on June 15.
