Music fans are being invited to nominate their favourite album of the year by a Scottish artist.
Now in it's ninth year, the Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Award will be held online for the first time on October 29 due to the pandemic and entries go live from 8am tomorrow (July 1).
Lewis Capaldi released his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent almost a year ago May 19 featuring the smash-hit singles Grace, Someone You Loved and Hold Me While You Wait'.
It's already been a bumper year for the Glasgow-based singer who picked up best new artist and best song for Someone You Loved at this year's Brit awards.

Other Scottish artists eligible to enter include; Declan Welsh & the Decadent West, Anna Meredith, Twin Atlantic, Siobhan Wilson and Idlewild.
Once all the eligible albums have been collated, a 'Longlist' of 20 will be chosen by a panel of judges from sectors including journalism, broadcast and radio, music retail and live music venues. They will be looking for a diverse range of entries that cover genres including jazz, rap, pop, rock and classical.
This year's longlist will be broadcast on Youtube with live performances from previous nominees on a date still to be announced.
Following the live stream event, the list will be whittled down to 10 albums, one of which will be chosen by music fans via a 72-hour online public vote. The remaining nine albums will be chosen by the SAY Award judging panel before the winner is announced on October 29.
Last year's SAW award winner Auntie Flo said: "The Scottish music scene is world renowned and The SAY Award does a great job of highlighting its breadth of talent.
"Winning The SAY Award was proof that artists who are properly independent, that work across diverse cultural boundaries and between different scenes and genres can be rewarded for their efforts.
"I hope my winning it inspires an even more diverse range of submissions this year.”

Albums released between April 1 2019 and May 31 this year are eligible to enter and the closing date for nominations is midnight on Friday, July 31.
Previous SAY award winners have included Young Fathers, twice, for the album Cocoa Sugar in 2018 and and in 2014 for Tape Two.
Artists including Glasgow's Franz Ferdinand, Frightened Rabbit, Honeyblood and Fatherson have also all seen their albums either make the Longlist or Shortlist in previous years.
The event was previously held in Glasgow but moved to Edinburgh last year.
