WILTSHIRE Council, working closely with Trowbridge Police Neighbourhood Team, have successfully applied for a closure order for an address in Toucan Street.
This follows the premises being taken over by people that were not welcome at the address and were responsible for criminal activity and anti-social behaviour that had a significant impact on local residents.
The order lasts for three months and means only the legal tenant can have access to the premises.
Police have powers to enter the premises and arrest anyone found to be in breach of the order.
They said: “We hope this order reassures local residents their complaints have been taken seriously and they can enjoy their homes in peace and quiet.”
