A MARLBOROUGH man has been charged following a disturbance outside a pub in the town yesterday evening.
Danny Avis, 27, of Thicketts Road was charged with using threatening, abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress after the fracas outside The Roebuck.
A police spokesman said: "We were called to a disturbance outside the pub just before 7pm on Sunday, 5 July involving two men – one man was arrested."
He is due in court on October 28.
